Although Edward & Graham have only been together for a few years, the songs they’ve created could only have been written through decades of separate experiences.
They both hail from Chicago, but while Johnny Edward sang of heartbreak in the singer/songwriter circuit, Evan Graham honed his craft as a writer, producer, guitarist and front man of the touring metal act, Alaya. Where their two worlds collide is somewhere between haunting Alt-Country and unforgiving Pop Rock.
While they set out to make noise in the Midwest, they began to buzz nationwide thanks to SiriusXM, where their song Rose Marie received heavy airplay. As they dropped their debut acoustic album, The Pilsen Sessions, listeners immediately engaged through familiar influences ranging from The Avett Brothers to Coldplay.
Even though Edward & Graham started as an acoustic duo, they’ve rounded out their sound by adding multi-instrumentalist Keith Dunn (Graham’s brother) and drummer/producer Rob Bordignon (Win & Woo, Freak Island).
With an exciting year of new music and live performances ahead, Edward & Graham plan to leave a lasting impact with songs that give all their influences the spotlight.
